Ballyhar hosted Tralee Dynamos B in the 1t round of the Munster Junio Cup on Sunday. Both teams started the game brightly with both teams cancelling each other out and very little chances given up by either side in the 1st half. H/T 0-0     

The 2nd half started the same but on 55 mins Ballyhar won a corner. From the resulting cross, Declan O'Connor sweetly hitting a shot that opened the scoring for Ballyhar. 1-0 Tralee responded by pusheinh more forward and when they floated a free kick into the Ballyhar box, it was headed to the net to make it 1-1. Tralee kept up the pressure, pushing for 2nd goal and with 12mins to go the took the lead. Ballyjar needed to react now and on 85 mins they did just that when John Power struck a shot from outside box the found the back of the net to make it 2-2. With extra-timed looming, both teams searched for a winner. Unfortunately Ballyhar couldn’t hold out and conceded a 3rd goal in the final minute of normal time. F/T 2-3.

It was great performance from a young Ballyhar team and best of luck to Tralee Dynamo’s for season.
