An excellent game played in good spirit by both teams. The game was very tight and even, until a deflected ball fell nicely to a Castle player to slot home for the lead 0-1. Ballyhar created a few good chances but Castlegregory were very clinical in front of goal and added 2 more to make it 0-3. Patrick O'Connor then scored just before halftime to give Ballyhar a glimmer of hope. H/T 1-3. 

The 2nd half saw Trevor O'Shea in goals having to pull out of the game and didn’t start the 2nd half due to hip strain, with Maurice O'Donughue stepping into goals and did excellent. Unfortunately, Castle Gregory added 2 more goals to see game finish 1-5.
