It was a share of the spoils for both teams at Murt Scott Park with Mastergeeha coming from 2 goals down to draw level just before full time.
Ballyhar got off to a good start when Patrick O'Connor cut in from the left to put his shot into the bottom corner and give them a deserved lead. O'Connor then turned provider as he fired in a cross from the right which fell to Daithi Allen who doubled Ballyhar's lead.
H/T 2-0
Mastergeeha had struggling to get into the game up to half time but that all changed in the 2nd half as they came out much stronger and capitalised on a bit of confusion in the Ballyhar box to lift the ball into the roof of the net. Ballyhar were now struggling to get a foothold in the 2nd half but a break down the left saw O'Connor race onto a nice ball and blast it home to re-establish a 2 goal cushion. But then with 8 mins left Mastergeeha kept pushing forward and reduced the deficit to 1 with just minutes remaining. Following a bit of counter attacking from both sides another scramble in the Ballyhar box lead to the equaliser. With only seconds remaining Daithi Allen broke again down the right and with just the keeper to beat his shot hit the post and bounced kindly into the keepers arms.
All in all a fair result with good performances from the goal scorers as well as Fionn Clifford, Danielle Brosnan and Cillian O'Sullivan.
