It was a near perfect performance from our U12 girls on Saturday morning when they travelled the short journey to Fossa to take on MEK.

Goals from Lucy Wynne (2), Niamh O'Sullivan, Emma O'Callaghan and Aoibhinn Daly saw Ballyhar claim a great win against a hard working MEK team. A total of 22 shots on target means that some shooting practice is needed but a dominant midfield performance by Emma O'Callaghan, Niamh O'Sullivan and Aoibhinn Daly created chances all game long. Faye O'Brien, Kate O'Connor and Anna Fitzgerald were very solid in defence with Emily O'Callaghan coming out of goals and also doing well in defence for the 2nd half. Anna Kate Daly and Alice Gleeson came into the team to help pile the pressure on MEK. Up front Mollie O'Connor and Lucy Wynne always looked dangerous, with O'Connor working tirelessly all game. A big thanks to MEK for a warm welcome and a sporting game.
