Ballyhar travelled to take on top of the table Kenmare on a heavy pitch on Saturday afterrnoon.
The first half saw Ballyhar full of confidence and brought the game to Kenmare, who defended well against the Ballyhar forward line of Charlie Curran, Brendan Flynn and Rian Comerford. Chances were at a premium with the highlight being an outstanding save feom Adam Quirke to keep out a great shot from Kenmare to make sure the teams went in at Half time 0-0.
The 2nd half didn't start well for Ballyhar as Kenmare scored early to take the lead. What followed was a 15 minute spell where Kenmare had 3 corners in quick succession and scored from all 3. Squeezed in between, was the move of the match from Ballyhar when the ball was won by Aaron Looney who played an inside pass to Ruari Casey in midfield, his first touch found Brian Evans who beat 3 players and feed Charlie Curran who finished Brilliantly.
