Our U13 B team had their 1st game of the season, and despite their best efforts, they came out on the wrong side of a 4-0 defeat at Murt Scott Park. It was their first time playing on a full-size pitch and goals which took a while to get used to. Despite a decent start from Ballyhar, Kenmare took the lead on their first attack, when a cross from the right didn't get cleared and was poked past keeper Charlie Curran. Ballyhar had the better possession over the whole game, but Kenmare were more efficient in front of goal. They scored off 2 more corners to lead at halftime 3-0.  Ballyhar kept the pressure on in the 2nd half but just couldn’t find the back of the Kenmare net. The visitors then finished off the scoring with the only goal of the half. F/T 0-4

There were plenty of good performances in Yellow & Blue despite the score, with lots of U12 players making their mark on the game. Best for Ballyhar were Aaron Looney, Ciaran Ferris, Diarmuid Fitzgerald and Joshua O'Sullivan.
