On the grass pitch in Ballyduff the Ballyhar U13 girls travelled in good numbers for their Division 1clash with LB Rovers.

In a tight game Ballyhar got off to a good start as they pressed the home defence. This pressure paid off as Anna Kate Daly fired home from a Niamh O'Sullivan corner on 11mins. Ballyhar continued to press and when they got a free kick halfway inside the LB Rovers half, the long range shot from Niamh O'Sullivan hit that back of the net when the keeper misjudged the bounce of the ball. Following the halftime break LB Rovers began to get a foothold in the game and were pushing for a goal and despite the defensive work of Emma O'Callaghan, Anna Fitzgerald and Aoibhinn Daly they made the breakthrough to pull it back to 1-2.
Fortunately for Ballyhar almost immediately after that, a mix up between the LB Keeper  and defender  led to an unfortunate OG making it 1-3 to the Ballyhar girls. This was enough to see the game out and a well earned 3 points for Ballyhar.
