A very tough day at the office for our U14's earlier as they came up against a much superior side in St Brendan's Park. We started off OK but gave them too much space, which allowed them to play around us and take control of the game. It was 4-0 at half time with our best chance coming from a corner which Park managed to scramble away.
The 2nd half went a similar way with the lads putting together some decent play in the first 10 mins of the 2nd half as Park sat back on their lead. We failed to trouble their keeper though with no shot from play over the course of the whole 70 mins. Their 2 centre backs dealt with anything we threw at them and their holding midfielder was a class above, always finding space with great control & distribution. 4 more goals followed for Park as we rang the changes in the 2nd half to give everyone a run out.
Best for Ballyhar was Marcus Clifford.
