U15 Premier: Ballyhar 2 - Killorglin 1

Both teams started very well with both defences working well to limit chances. It was halfway into the 1st half when Ballyhar broke the deadlock when Daniel Downes latched onto ball after a good save inside box. Killorglin had a couple of half chances after the goal, only to find Jack O'Shea in good form between the posts.  H/T 1-0

The 2nd half started similar to the first with Ballyhar having the better chances, but the killorglin keeper kept his cool and saved well. Issac Vickers did find the back of the net for Ballyhar, after he broke down the right side, cutting inside to finish well into bottom corner. 2-0 Then with 10 minutes to go, Killorglin pushed to narrow the gap, broke through our defence and finished their chance well. 2-1. Ballyhar finished the game strong, under a lot of pressure from Killorglin looking for an equaliser and held out for the win.F/T 2-1

Best for Ballyhar were Ryan Breen, Dàira Cornally, Conor O’Leary, Conor Foley and Aaron Moriarty.
