Our U17s hosted Park B on Saturday afternoon and started brightly going 3-0 up inside 20 minutes. The first came from an Anthony Cremin through ball that was finished to tge net by Gerard Long. Shane Doolan scored the 2nd following a Luke Courtney corner & and an 18 yard shot from Eugene Deniel put Ballyhar in control. Eugene got his 2nd of the game on 40 mins, scoring from close range. It wasn't all one way traffic as Park rattled the cross bar in the 1st half & Sean O'Sullivan was called into action on a number of occasions. H/T 4-0

Courtney got Ballyhars 5th on the hour mark after excellent approach work by Marcus Clifford. Park to their credit pulled one back on 65 minutes & it took good defending by Tony Daly, Eoin Walshe, Andy o Cathasaigh to keep Park at bay. Overall a deserved 3 points with a cup game away to Premier side Tralee Dynamos on the 27th January.
