Our seniors played under lights in Killorglin on Saturday evening against MEK Galaxy. The home team controlled the early possession but it was Mike Daly & Declan O'Connor who had half chances before MEK took the lead  on 25 minutes. Trevor O'Shea was excellent in goal throughout the game. The two substitutes, Robert Kelly & Michael O'Sullivan from our U17's, were thrust into the game by half time due to knocks picked up Patrick O'Connor & Jack Dicker. H/T 1-0

The second half saw Ballyhar put in a determined shift with more possession & chances. MEK doubled there lead from a corner on 70min with Maurice O'Donoghue striking the crossbar immediately afterwards. Danny Cronin pulled one back with a fine shot after a long ball from Keeper Trevor O'Shea on 85 mins but there was not enough time to create an equalising chance and it finished 2-1.

Overall a super effort from the 13 that togged out with the three u17s along with Ger Fitzgerald, Alan moriarty, Danny & Michael Brosnan putting in big efforts.
