2nd half started with the same intent with Ballyhar putting pressure on to open the scoring. From a corner John Power stood over it and floated it in only for it to go all the way. 1-0. Ballyhar kept their heads and with defence playing well kept Asdee to long range shots which Patrick O'Connor was equal to. Declan O'Connor found himself in a great position when ball was passed into him to make it 2-0. Asdee were getting frustrated as they needed a win to get closer to safety in the league and when ballyhar broke down the wing P O'Connor cut into box to shoot and see his shot deflected into net 3-0. Ballyhar didn’t make it easy for the last 15mins as Asdee got 1 back and had a few good chances after their goal. As Asdee pushed Ballyhar found Michael O’Sullivan who made it 4-1 to round off a good day for Ballyhar seniors.
On the day Michael Fitzgerald, Danny Cronin, Luke Ring and Conor O'Sullivan played well.
