The Ballyhar girls travelled to local rivals MEK for their final league game of the season.
Ballyhar got off the a great start when an Anna Fitzgerald long throw put Niamh O'Sullivan through on the left wing only to cut inside and slot home after just 4 mins. O'Sullivan doubled the lead when a long range free kick was misjudged by the MEK Keeper and ended up in the net. Great work in defence from Emily O'Callaghan and in midfield by Olivia Prenderville helped to push the Ballyhar team forward. O'Sullivan completed her hat trick on 37mins when another trademark long range shot found the top corner.
The introduction of Chazmine Carungay up front introduced real pace and it was her pressure that led to the mistake which handed Ballyhar their 4th goal. Anna Kate Daly laid on the assist for Niamh O'Sullivan who struck a beautiful curling shot into the side netting.
A great way to end the season and the girls deserve huge credit for their performances on game days.
