Our seniors team traveled to Cahersiveen last Sunday for a late k.o which finished under lights.

Both teams battled a strong breeze with both teams creating a few chances but it was Iveragh that took the lead to make it 1-0 at the break. H/T 1-0

Ballyhar started the 2nd half brightly and nearly got an equaliser when Padraig O’Connor hit the post and Declan O'Connor followed up to drive ball narrowly wide. After good pressure from Ballyhar halfway through, Iveragh broke and an unfortunate last gasp tackle resulted in a penalty. Iveragh converted from the spot to make it 2-0. With only 1 sub the lads did really well and only conceded a 3rd with minutes left to finish the tie 3-0.
It was great to have some  youth players coming forward with Eoin Walsh and Tony Daly putting in a solid performance.
