We start well and created 2 or 3 good chances along with few half chances and were the better team in the first 20 minutes but found ourselves 1-0 down after 25 minutes.

We battled back into the game and 5 minutes before half-time, David Burke was taken down in the penalty area, David scored the resulting penalty. 1-1 at halftime.

In the second half both teams had chances and midway through the half Ballyhar went 2-1 up with a good finish by Eugene Deniel. We held onto the lead until 10 minutes from time when MEK equalised.

It ended 2-2 and in truth it was a game that could have gone either way. Best were Sean Mcconologue, Eoghan Corbett,Diarmuid Quirke, Gearoid O’Connor and Michael Lynch.
