Our girls came up against a strong Fenit team today. Ballyhar got off to a slow start with Fenit taking an early lead after a speculative shot found its way into the Ballyhar net. Strong displays from Maria Scanlon in midfield, Emily O'Callaghan and Anna Fitzgerald in defence helped to limit Fenit’s chances but eventually Fenit found a way through to make it 2-0.

Ballyhar failed to trouble the solid Fenit defence all game and chances were very limited. A third goal for the visitors came late in the game to put the result beyond our girls. Best for Ballyhar were Emily O'Callaghan and Maria Scanlon
