Our U12 girls suffered their first real heavy defeat on a tough night at the office at the weekend. They were really up against it, with a Park team that boasted 5 Kerry players, including the Kerry captain, who clearly should be playing in the Premier Division and not Division 1. Despite all that our girls gave it their all and never gave up. Most of the team are u11 and not u12 and the age difference showed in this game with the bigger, faster, stronger Park team running through them at will. Big thanks to the loyal supporters for braving the elements after the lightning storm but it was an experience the girls will no doubt learn from and the scoreline not reflecting their true potential or the effort they've put in. Onwards and upwards!!! 💪

Best for Ballyhar were Anna Fitzgerald and Seoidin Scanlon at the back. Eimear Spring chased everything in midfield.
