Milltown hosted Ballyhar in Cromane on Saturday morning in the U12 Shield competition. Milltown started well with 2 goals in the first 15  minutes of the game. However, Ballyhar settled into the game and had their own chances at goal.H/T 2-0

The the second half saw a more determined Ballyhar who tried hard to change the outcome of the game with some great passing by Darragh mcLaughlin and Thomas Ryan. Ballyhars defence did well with some good clearances by Ollie Kirwan and Ciarán Ferris. The score didn’t reflect the game as Ballyhar had a lot of possession in the 2nd half but were just unable to score. Milltown were the better team on the day and scored 2 more goals before the final whistle. F/T 4-0

Ballyhar never gave up and each player gave 100 percent but it just wasn’t their day.
