A solid performance from the Ballyhar U13's who took an early lead when Jack Duggan played in Josh Nelligan in the 1st minute who finished well. This lifted the whole team and Darragh McLaughlin doubled the lead on 8 minutes with a fine strike. 2-0 The Duggan - Nelligan duo combined again on 20mins with Nelligan slotting home again to make it 3-0 Ballyhar at half time.

Tralee came back into things in the second half making it 3-1 before McLaughlin got his second of the game to restore the 3 goal cushion. With the game looking secure for Ballyhar, Tralee threw everything into attack and got 2 late goals to give the home team a scare. But in the end Ballyhar held on for a well earned win. F/T 4-3
