On a sunny evening at Murt Scott Park it was a clash between last year's Division 1 North & South Champions.

After a tightly contested opening 10 min it was Ballyhar who broke the deadlock when a well delivered corner from Ryan Quilter was headed to the back of the net by Daire Cornally. Ballyhar then settled into the game and started to move the ball around well with some excellent play from Addy Nolan, Callum Templeman & Dylan Fitzgerald. Ballyhar then overwhelmed the visitors as Ryan Vickers hit a purple patch which led to goals on 15, 20, 24 & 29 mins, converting 3 good through balls and also blasting a magnificent strike from outside the box straight into the top corner.

Fenit came out all guns blazing in the 2nd half as Ballyhar seemed to lose focus and get too comfortable on their lead. The visitors controlled the play creating several chances, one which keeper Jamie O'Brien had to be at full stretch to keep out. Sub keeper Jack Kelly also made a good save from point blank range to keep the visitors out. But all their pressure finally paid off as Fenit got their just rewards on 55 mins when a deflected Ballyhar clearance was rattled home by the visitors.
