Our U14 B's were chasing their first win of the campaign and their determination for the 3 points was on show throughout this contest. Ballyhar started brightly and took the lead in the 3rd minute with a Fionn Clifford corner finding the head of Daniel Ryan 0-1. Tralee found their rythem but the Ballyhar back four of Nathan O Brien, Nicolas Newmann, Fionn Clifford and Jack O Leary who remained resolute throughout. Ballyhar increased their lead on 25min, Alan Mrotek long throw down the line found Luke Bartlett with a first time cross onto the foot of Daniel Ryan who volleyed to the net 0-2. Tralee reacted well and Noah Browne was called upon twice and pulled off two excellent saves to keep his side in front. HT

Ballyhar had to work hard in the second half but with the work rate of Daithi Allen, Peter O Callaghan, Alan Mrotek and Luke Bartlett in the middle of the park ensured they were not going to let their lead slip. 10 min from time Ballyhar put the game beyond reach. A free won by Alex Kelly and a perfect delivery from Mrotek found the man of the hour Dan Ryan who had the confidence to kill the ball with his touch before calmy slotting home for his hattrick.0-3 FT

MOM was a difficult one with so many excellent individual performances throughout but it's not every day you score a hattrick, well done Dan Ryan⚽️⚽️⚽️
