Conditions were ideal for this Division 1 league game with Ballyhar taking a 20th minute lead with a well taken goal by Evan Cox following good work by Gérard Long & luke Courtney. The home side made it 1-1 just before the break to set up interesting second half. H/T 1-1

Early on in the 2nd half, Jack O'Donoghue fired home for Ballyhar with Eugene Deniel & Eoin Walshe prominent in the build up. On the 70th minute Andy O'Cathasaigh rose highest in the box to powerfully head home a goal to give ballyhar some breathing space. Late on keeper Sean O'Sullivan was called into action on a number of occasions to deny the home side.

Overall a merited win for our U17s with little between the 2 sides.
