Our U14's got a good win on the road on Saturday morning to advance to the last 16 of the Cup competition.

The game got off to a great start on the Ardfert astro, with both teams attacking well. The defences were on top form until Ballyhar broke a high line with a ball over the top. Conor Foley ran from our own half to carry the ball towards the Ballyheigue goal to score the opener halfway into the 1st half. Ardfert kept pushing and looked dangerous but it was Ballyhar who would strike again, when Issac Vickers latched onto a ball outside the box and sent a bullet of a shot past the keeper with 25mins gone. 2 mins later though, Ballyheigue got into the box and slotted home to make it 1-2 at half time. 

The 2nd half started the same with both teams going for it again, Ballyhar having the better chances. Ballyhar's 3rd goal came from Kealan Riordan on 45 mins and he got his 2nd on 58 to make it 4-1. Ballyhar should have added to the score only for fine goalkeeping from the Ballyheigue keeper. The home side got their 2nd goal in added time to make it 4-2 to Ballyhar at full time.

Another great performance from all to progress into next round in cup. Well done to the lads.
