Playing with a strong breeze in 1st half and both teams doing well Ballyhar got the break from a ball over the top on 9, when Daniel Downes ran passed defence to put ball into the net. Camp came on strong after goal and scored a well taken effort on 15 to bring scored level.
Ballyhar wasted a few good chances only for Camp to push on and broke our defence on 23. The game settled again and when a shot was dropped from camp keeper Conor Foley got a vital toe to the ball to make it 2-2 on the stroke of 1/2 time.
Both teams played strong at start of half and Ballyhar got into the box with good passing for Isaac Vickers to slot ball home on 41. Camp equaliser again came on 52. It’s 3-3 and in melting pot. With Camp looking strong it was Ballyhar to get the next 2 goals in less than a minute. Kealan Reardan on 61 and Isaac vickers 62.
Isaac Vickers completed Ballyhar scoring on 65 from just inside the box. At 3-6 Ballyhar didn’t make it easy. Camp weren’t finished and scored 2 late goals on 69 and 70+1.
Camp could have equalised when 1 on 1 with our keeper, only for kianan Cronin getting a strong hand to get the ball away with seconds left. Ballyhar hung on to get the victory in a hard fought game.
Overall great team performance and all players got great game time.
