Ballyhar B 2-0 Park C
Ballyhar claimed a solid 2-0 win over Park with a composed performance and goals in either half. It could have been much more only for the shot stopping of the Park keeper.
The opener came in the 25th minute when Bryan Evans delivered a perfectly struck corner that floated into the box and found Jack Cooper, who made no mistake with the finish.
The home side doubled their lead in the 53rd minute. Evans was again at the heart of the action, laying the ball off neatly for Jack Sheehy, who slotted home to seal the result.
Park struggled to create clear-cut chances against a well-organised Ballyhar defence, with Paddy Hurley and Lachlan Leslie standing out. Ewan Myers covered every blade of grass and provided great cover for the midfield as they pushed on.
The hosts saw out the match comfortably to earn all three points.
