Our U15's just got the better of a strong Mastergeeha side in what turned out to be a cracking game at Murt Scott Park on Saturday morning.

Ballyhar opened the scoring when Cillian Slattery dispossessed the Mastergeeha defender and curled the ball into the top corner, Slattery netted twice more mid way through the half after two good passing movements down the left wing involving Anthony Cremin and Marcus Clifford to complete his hat-trick.

Mastergeeha were a constant threat and got two back before Anthony Cremin headed home a Ross Lally cross to make the score 4-2 at the break.

Mastergeeha dominated exchanges in the second half and with 15 mins remaining they had levelled proceedings with 2 fine finishes inside the box.

Ballyhar weren't finished though and with minutes left on the clock, Slattery went on a run down the right, pulled it back to Tom Costelloe who swung in a cross that found Davin Quilter in the box who's first time volley found the net for the winner.

Thanks to Mastergeeha for what was a very exciting game from both sides with a great display by all in Blue and the clear MOTM Cillian Slattery.
