The lads entertained Castleisland at home in the league with the bare 11 players available.

They were up against it from the off, with Castleisland having most of the play in the initial stages. The defence of Dylan, Daithi, Nicolas and Nathan repelled all the early attacks with Fionn assured in goal. Ballhar were just settling into the game when Castleisland struck to take the lead. They doubled this with a fine strike from outside the box as Ballyhar players stood off too much. Half time 0:2 down.

Playing with the wind in the 2nd half, Ballyhar saw more possession with Charlie, Odhran, Eoiny and  Luke in midfield putting in an excellent shift. Trying to get back into the game and going three at the back, the lads started to create a few openings. However, it was Castleisland who would score the next crucial goal. This was followed up with a fourth, before an excellent ball played through by Alex Kelly found Daniel Ryan, who finished well for a well deserved goal.F/T 1-4

Best on the day for Ballyhar were Luke Bartlett, Nathan O Brien, Nicolas Newmann and MOM Odhran Leslie, captain on the day.
