Our U15 B team made the short journey over to Castleisland on a bright Saturday morning to take on Castleisland in U15 Division 2.

The lads started brightly with Noah Goodman, Peter O'Callaghan, Daniel Ryan and Pau all very lively up front and creating a number of good chances. Ballyhar went into the lead when Daniel Ryan stuck from the edge of the box. His shot deceiving the Castleisland goalie and nestling in their net. The defence of Eoin Cremin, Odhran Leslie, Jack O Leary and Cian Lynch all to the fore, with Ballyhar going into the break one nil to the good. H/T 0-1

Playing against the breeze in the 2nd half it was natural that Castleisland would see more of the play and they were back on level terms after 10 minutes of the second half. Castleisland pushed on and Alex Kelly in goals made a number of excellent saves to keep the game level. However with 10 mins to go, the Castleisland pressure eventually paid off when they got the decisive second goal. F/T 2-1
