U15 Division 2: Tralee Dynamos 2 - Ballyhar B 0

Our U15B team had their first outing of the season away to Tralee Dynamos. The lads started brightly, but it was Tralee who would go in at half time with a 2 nil lead. Ballyhar came out flying in the 2nd half and earned two penalties in quick succession. Unfortunately, the first one came back straight off the cross bar and fell to the penalty taker, Killian O Sullivan, who slotted the rebound home for what he thought was a goal. but unfortunately this resulted in a free out, as no player had touched the ball after the initial strike from Killian. Our second penalty was taken by Luke Bartlett who struck it well but saw it go just wide of the right-hand post.

Ballyhar pushed on and created a number of clear cut chances but a mixture of excellent saves and poor finishing left the score unchanged at the full-time whistle. On the flip side, excellent saves from Nicolas Newmann in goal thwarted many of the Tralee efforts in the second half and they all battled hard to the end. Well done to Tralee Dynamos, and best of luck for the season ahead.
Best on the night for Ballyhar was Killian O'Sullivan with other stand out performances by Nathan O'Brien, Noah Goodman, and Eoin Cremin.
