Our U15's made the trip down ro Kenmare on Saturday and were unlucky to come away with nothing.
The 1st half was dominated by both defences, until Kenmare broke with a good ball in which was initially saved, only to fall to a Kenmare player who tapped it home from close range. H/T 1-0
The 2nd half was much of the same but with 10 mins to go Ballyhar found the net from a corner that Ryan Breen latched onto. 1-1 Unfortunately it wasn't the end of the scoring as the clock approached full-time, Kenmare let a shot fly from distance which saw the ball hit the underside of crossbar and into the net to make it 2-1. There just wasn't enough time left for Ballyhar to respond but they did very well under tough conditions away.
Well done to Kenmare in a very sporting game and best of luck for rest of season. Best for Ballyhar were Donacha Quirk, Aaron Moriarty, Conor Foley, Kianan Cronin and Jack O’Shea.
