Our U15s had a great win on Tuesday evening as they got their first win at Premier level away to a strong Mastergeeha side.

The first half was a very even affair, with both sides enjoying good spells of possession and a few chances at both ends of the pitch. Both teams would have been happy to go in at the break level but Mastergeeha took a chance 5 mins before halftime to grab a narrow 1-0 lead.

Ballyhar started the 2nd half well and limited the home side to very little chances. They needed a reply though and when Ryan Vicker’s broke Mastergeeha's defensive line on 55 mins, he had 1 thing on his mind, finishing a low shot into the bottom corner. 1-1 and game on. Both teams went hard to get the important 2nd goal and 3 mins from time, Donnacha Quirke slotted home on debut for Ballyhar to make it 1-2. The just before the final whistle was blown, Aaron Moriarty struck a late clincher to make it 3-1 to Ballyhar.

It was an excellent performance once again by the boys, who got that all important first win in premier division to build on. Well done lads.
