Our U16’s travelled to Ballyduff to take on LB Rovers at the weekend.
The 2 sides started brightly with chances created at both ends. Ballyhar opened scoring through Jamie Murphy after 12mins. LB then went on the front foot, putting pressure on Ballyhar and scored the equaliser quickly to make it 1-1. After that goal Ballyhar settled into their rythmn and began to control the game, and Kealan Riordan made it 1-2 to Ballyhar for the last goal of the half. H/T 1-2
Ballyhar started the 2nd half brighter and soon added to the scoreline with goals from Aaron Moriarty, Eoin Casey, Ryan Quilter and Isaac Vickers before LB Rovers got 2 goals back from 2 frees outside box, converting nicely in either corner of goals. 3-6. But the final say went to Noel O'Sullivan who struck a sweetly hit shot which nestled in the net to finish the scoring. F/T 3-7
