The u17s travelled to Listowel at the weekend an came up just short in a game where they took the lead on 25 minutes from a Shane Doolan corner.  Ballyhar were unlucky not to extend their lead with several chances missed or saved by the excellent Listowel keeper. Then just before half time, Listowel got a break away equaliser to see the sides going in level at the short whistle. H/T 1-1

The 2nd half saw both sides cancel each other out until the last 15 mins. In that final quarter, listowel scored from a free kick & converted a penalty to take a 3-1 lead. Ballyhar weren't finished yet and Eugene Deniel pulled a goal back on 85 mins with a great individual effort to set up an exciting finish. But Ballyhar could not get the equaliser that their play deserved. F/T 3-2
