Our U17's had a great away win on Sunday in Tralee. Played on Park's impressive new astro Ballyhar fell behind in the first 5 minutes following a corner. It took a bit of time for the lads to adjust tonthe surface but gradually improved over the first 45 mins and could have been level but for some bad luck.H/T 1-0

Ballyhar took control of the game in the second half and equalised with a well taken individual goal from Eugene Daniel. The lads pushed hard for another goal but try as they might, they couldn't breakdown the Park defence. But with just 3 minutes left, Jack Dicker found some space and let fly from 25 yards with a rocket that nestled in the top corner giving the Park keeper no chance. It was a strike good enough to win any game and was a welcome relief following an excellent team display from all 13 players.

Best on the day were Colm O'Sullivan Colm Riordan, Michael O'Sullivan, Michèal Fitzgerald, Jack Dicker and MOTM Eugene Daniel.
