Our U17's had a disappointing result on the road on Saturday in Caherciveen. The lads started the game well despite being down a good few starters and enjoyed plenty of possession though not creating much. Iveragh managed to get the opening goal against the run of play. Iveragh got a corner from their first real attack and scored due to some slack marking. That gave them a massive life and got 2 more goals before halftime. H/T 3-0

That made it a real uphill battle in the second half but Ballyhar kept fighting and had some nice play which led to them getting one back after winning a penalt by Jack Dicker and expertly finished by our goalkeeper Rian Brosnan. The lads tried to push forward for another goal but were caught on the break for there 4th goal which finished the contest. Best on the day were Damien O'Connor, Michael O'Sullivan, Jack Dicker and Rian Brosnan.
