Premier B... Ballyhar seniors secured a 4-4 draw with visitors AC Athletic at murt Scott park. Played on a dry sod despite the recent rain fall,Ballyhar took a two goal lead before 30 minutes were on the clock when two good passing movements with wingers patrick o connor & peter cograve prominent resulted in Sean Cooper & James Horgan hitting the net.
When possibly Ballyhar may have made it 3-0 AC struck before half time with a penalty to leave Ballyhar leading 2-1 at the break.
The visitors who were physically strong and more direct in their play scored twice early in the second half to lead 2-3 but with fresh legs arriving a Trevor o Shea long clearance took a deflection to make it 3-3. Sean Cooper struck for his second goal after good approach work by Danny & Mike Brosnan to give Ballyhar the lead. AC struck late on from the penalty spot to tie the game.
Overall some excellent play from Ballyhar with 14 players getting game time and each making a valuable contribution.
