There were four goals in a very entertaining fixture at Murt Scott Park on Sunday when our Seniors took on St Brendan's Park.

The visitors took the lead on 15 mins, when the ref decided that a shot from Park crossed the goaline despite the best efforts of Trevor O'Shea in goals. Ballyhar then upped their work rate and equalised on 30 min when good work by Diarmuid Brosnan & Ger Fitzgerald set up James Horgan whose powerful shot made it 1-1. Park took the lead again before halftime following a fine team goal built from the back. H/T 1-2

The second half saw Ballyhar put in a huge effort and were rewarded when John power set up the industrious Sean Cooper, who made no mistake on 80 mins. Ballyhar pushed on with second half replacements Gearoid Quirke & Jack Dicker going close in the final stages but it finished honours even. Overall a positive performance from the squad with Trevor O'Shea, Kevin O'Sullivan, Maurice O'Donoghue, Danny Cronin, Alan Moriarty & Declan O'Connor all showing well on the day.
