Our 12 White team travelled to St Brendan's park on Wednesday Evening to kick off their season.

The hosts started strong and had the majority of the first half possession, with Ballyhar 's back three of Harry O'Flaherty, Noah Finn & Oisin Moynihan doing well to break up many of the home sides attacks. Keeper Fiachra Mccarron was also kept busy but was in fine form over the whole game making numerous saves. Ballyhar held firm and worked hard to keep the game scoreless at the break. 0-0

Ballyhar looked to create some chances of their own in the 2nd half with Patrick Brosnan & Luca Mulchinock testing the home sides defence. Unfortunately the Ballyhar rear guard couldn't keep the home side out as Park struck twice in five minutes early in the second half. Soon after Ballyhar would pull one back, with a fine individual goal by Leo Fox, who scored following a fine run  and shot to bring Ballyhar back into the game. 2-1 The comeback didn't quite happen for the lads as Park scored 2 more goals in the final 10 minutes saw park claim a 4-1 home win.

Overall Ballyhar showed great spirit, with all 12 player's receiving lots of valuable game time. Best of luck to the Park side for the rest of the season.
