U13 Boys Cup Rd 1: St Brendan's Park D 0 - Ballyhar B 8

In the first round of the cup, our U13 B team travelled to Tralee and thanks to some really great performances they came away with a win.

Right from the start the Ballyhar lads were at it and after just 7mins midfielder Bryan Evans set up winger Elliot Lyne whose low cross was turned into their own goal by the park defenders. 2 mins later Dermot Nealon cleared the ball from defence and set up the magnificent Jack Cooper for his first of the day on 9 mins.
Shortly after that, Bryan Evans set up Cooper for his 2nd and Ballyhar’s 3rd. On 21mins Cooper completed his hat trick after a mix up in the Park box! Bryan Evans got a well deserved goal of his own on 25mins with a beautiful strike from the edge of the box. H/T 0-5

The second half opened just as the first did, with captain on the day Rian Comerford slotting home on 32mins.
Evans set up yet another goal as he put Comerford through again to double his tally for the day. The final goal came the the midfield partnership of Cooper and Evans combined and played the ball through for Tadhg Fitzgerald to poke passed the keeper. F/T 0-8

A superb team performance but special mention to Jack Cooper and Bryan Evans who were outstanding today!

A great result that sees Ballyhar progress in the competition
