U13 Div 2: Ballyhar B 5 - 1 Mastergeeha

The u13Bs bounced back with a well deserved win against a tough and spirited Mastergeeha side in a wet and windy Mutt Scott Park earlier this morning.

Mastergeeha got off to the better start, scoring with a deflected shot which went beyond Noah Browne in goals, early in the 1st half. The lads dug deep and with Alan Mortek and Fionn Clifford marshaling the center of defence, assisted by Peter O Callaghan and Odhran Leslie on the wings, Ballyhar got back into the game and got level before half time following a well finished goal from Alex Kelly.

The lads began to gain the upper hand early in 2nd half, with Luke Bartlett and Killian O Sullivan beginning to dominate the exchanges in midfield. They got their rewards with a goal form Killian putting the lads 2:1 up. Mastergeeha continued to be dangerous, with excellent saves at a crucial time by Noah in goals keeping Mastergeeha at bay.

Ballyhar then were rewarded following some excellent play with a further goal for Killain and also a brace for Daniel Ryan, who made an excellent impact after springing from the bench.

Thanks to Mastergeeha for a tough and spirited game. All players were excellent, however special mention goes to Luke Bartlett, Danielle Brosnan, Noah Goodman and Player of Match Killian O Sullivan.
