Our U13's got their first taste of the Premier Division when they came out on the wrong side of a high scoring game against a strong Kenmare side.
Ballyhar got off to a slow start and found themselves 3-0 down after just 15 mins. Ryan Vickers managed to steady the ship for Ballyhar running the length of the pitch and scoring a fantastic solo goal. But Kenmare managed to regain a 3 goal cushion before halftime. H/T 4-1
Ballyhar improved in the 2nd half and slowly grew into the game more. First Ryan Quilter narrowed the gap to 4-2 before Ballyhar were awarded a penalty with 10 mins left that was tucked away by Addy Nolan. Ballyhar pushed to get an equaliser but Kenmare held on for the deserved win.
Best for Ballyhar were Dylan Fitzgerald, Sean O'Leary and the excellent Ryan Vickers.
