Our U17's had a good afternoon at Murt Scott Park on Saturday, picking up a well earned 3 points at home to St Brendan's Park B.
The lads put together one of their best performances of the season, with all 16 players involved playing well. Ballyhar were 2-0 up at half time through 2 excellent finishes by Gearoid Quirke, 1 assisted by a great kick out from goalkeeper Rian Brosnan and the 2nd from a Robert Kelly cross. H/T 2-0
St Brendan's Park pulled one back half way through the second half, before 2 Ballyhar substitutes combined to make the game safe, as Sean O'Sullivan set up Gerard Long to score Ballyhar's third.
All the boys in Ballyhar Blue played well with special mentions to Rian Brosnan, Jack Dicker, Michael O'Sullivan, Luke Henderson and Man of the Match - Gearoid Quirke.
